SA8000 reporting
WHAT YOU CAN REPORT:
Also for the purposes of the SA8000 standard, all workers can make reports or complaints regarding the workplace and/or non-compliance with the SA8000 Standard or suggestions in both anonymous and non-anonymous form to:
- through verbal or written communication to the SPT – Sociali Performance Team (gieffeconsultingsas.gaetano@gmail.com; studio.febbraio@libero.it);
- through verbal or written communication c/o the Planetaria S.r.l. website;
- by filling out, even anonymously, the 01/27 reporting form by inserting it in the “Suggestions and Reports” boxes located in specific areas of the PLANETARIA headquarters;;
- Website https://www.planetariasrl.it/ “CONTACTS”->”REPORTS” section;
- to the bodies responsible for managing the SA 8000 system through:
- written report by priority mail to the SICERT Accredited Certification Body http://sicert.net/segnalazioni/ – Specify that the communication concerns Planetaria S.r.l.. Detail the situation in contrast with the requirements of the SA800 standard.

REPORTING CHANNELS
The sending methods can be as follows:
– BY HAND: On the appropriate form to be delivered to the Steering Committee personally or through a direct manager or at the headquarters in the appropriate reporting boxes;
– BY MAIL: communications can be sent: to the email address of the Representative for Gender Equality, president Dr. Gaetano February (gieffeconsultingsas.gaetano@gmail.com; studio.febbraio@libero.it)
– VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS: in the case of verbal reports (including telephone ones), the staff constituting the Steering Committee have the duty to maintain the anonymity, if requested, of the person from whom the communication is received.
These complaints can also be anonymous on an unheaded and unsigned sheet of paper.
The Steering Committee will verify the veracity of the reports, also through direct interviews with the person or/and colleagues, aimed at identifying any discriminatory episodes. Within 5 days of receiving the report, the Steering Committee for Gender Equality will respond directly to the signatory of the report (in the case of a non-anonymous report), or by posting it on the notice board (if anonymous).
The Steering Committee for Gender Equality can be consulted at any time regarding reports of discriminatory events by staff.
The Steering Committee, in addition to facilitating communication, is called upon to monitor that the complaint is managed by the competent function by collaborating in verifying the closure of the complaint/complaint. If it becomes necessary, following the treatment of a finding, corrective action may be requested. The reports received will be input for the Periodic Review of the Management System for Gender Equality.
The Steering Committee for Gender Equality guarantees that when defining corrective and preventive actions to remedy a reported problem, it will take into consideration, as far as legally and professionally possible, the most favorable measures towards the worker and, furthermore, will undertake, through training and raising awareness of staff and all interested parties, to make the problem reporting tool a positive and active means with which the organization itself wants to improve its Gender Equality Management System.
